Meal Plan Nov 8 -- Nov 13

Monday - Pasta e Fagioli
Note: adjust recipe to family size. I substituted elbow macaroni for Ronzoni Smart Taste Rotini. Also, instead of water I use chicken broth. (Kroger Mega 10 Event - Ronzoni and chicken broth)
Tuesday- Smoked Sausage with Shredded Potatoes & Vegetables
Note: (Kroger Mega 10 Event - Simply Potatoes)
Ingredients:
(1) rope Smoked Sausage
(1) package Simply Potatoes
(1) package frozen 3 pepper & onion blend (Kroger)
(1) can of sweet corn
Slice sausage in 1/2 inch to one inch slices. Heat 3 tsp of oil in frying pan. Add sausage and vegetable blend to pan, saute on medium heat. Remove when sausage is brown on both sides and vegetables are tender, set aside. Saute potatoes according to package directions (you may need to add more oil). When potatoes are fully cooked, mix in sausage and vegetables. Drain corn and add to potatoes, sausage and vegetables, heat until corn is warmed. Serve hot.
Wednesday- Creamy beef & noodles
Note: I substituted with Ronzoni whole wheat egg noodles. (Kroger Mega 10 Event- Ronzoni Whole Wheat Egg Noodles and Campbells Cream of Mushroom Soup).
Thursday- Stove Top Chicken Bake
Note: (Kroger Mega 10 Event- Stove Top Stuffing and Campbells Cream of Chicken Soup) Food lion 2 packs of chicken tenders 50% off sale - $3.00 off catalina from last week's purchase. Total for 2 packs chicken tenders $4.35.
Friday- Sloppy Joes (Kids Cook)
Note: Food Lion purchase any 5 and save $2.00 off purchase. I purchased 3 cans of Manwich ($1.25 each) and 2 Banquet dinners ($2.00 each). Total $3.75.
Saturday- Clean Out Fridge (leftovers)
Sunday-??? (Dad Cook)

We used to have Food Lion, but they went away.Your menu for the week is very good, I really like Dad Cook's night! Thank you for sharing.

I LOVE the idea of your kids cooking on Friday!! I love the dad cook night too! My husband decided to make our meal plan this week and cook all week. I'm still waiting for dinner right now (lol) but he's going to make it. :) Love your low grocery bill for your large family! Good job!
